Our form teacher gave a few of us a form and on it, it states that I was shortlisted for GEP Round 2. I was very happy and I know mummy will too. Before I passed the letter to mummy, I asked her if I can don't go to GEP school if I got through round 2 and she said ok. She also promised me that she will not make me study for it. I reminded her that if I had to study very hard for it, it will defeats the purpose. I told her what the teacher told us, "GEP is for the intellectually gifted pupils. If you study very hard and get through, you may struggle in the GEP class, so go home and tell your parents there's no need to fuss around it. Let it be a test of your natural ability".
So we agreed to let it be and focus on our exams and competition. Nothing was mentioned again about this.
