Today I went to the Navy Open House. I had lots of fun there and the weather was great even though mommy kept complaining that its hot. It was drizzling a little and so, rather cooling for us.
As this is our first time visiting, we were not sure what to do first. So mommy decided to check out one of the vessel, RSS Vigour, and it happen to be the smallest of the lots. The queue was very long and we had to queue about half an hour! Though it was the smallest, it still has a bedroom and toilets. And there was even a television!

By the time we finished touring the first, its already 12 noon and the crowds are coming in. So mommy suggested to check out the largest vessel and go home. So mommy ask my aunty to queue while she get us lunch. Jiejie finished her lunch first and mommy told her to take over aunty's place while aunty had her lunch.
The vessel, RSS Resolution is the biggest vessel there. It was very high. and had many bedrooms compared to the first vessel that we saw. It has a very big kitchen too! Mommy said the kitchen is even bigger than hers. It even has a canteen and a gym!! Inside the vessel, its very cold too. The best part of the tour is we got to ride on the "FAST GARTH". I don't know the actually spelling. We had to wait for quite a while as there are limited children's life jacket. But the wait is worthwhile! We were among the first in the queue and thus able to get a good seat. But we did not sit, we kneel on the bench instead. At first, the Fast Garth went slowly. Then, it went faster and faster and faster. It was like a rocket for me. We sailed all the way out to the sea and back.
By the time we finished, it was about 3pm and mommy decided to stay for the "show". Its very exciting and the navy divers can really swim very fast!
After the show, mommy said we had enough for the day and we walked to the pick up point for the bus. Its a very, very long walk and I was really very tired by then and felt asleep on the bus.
Oh yes, just before we left, we even sign our names on the big signage!
Its really fun and good experience for me.
