7th Birthday Party @ Snow City

What a long wait! Finally my birthday party is HERE!!

Plans for the party were made 2 months back. I had initially wanted to have my birthday party at Sentosa (The Luge) but mommy said its not feasible as no parents will want to go all the way there. Mommy suggested Snow City instead. After some deep consideration, I agreed.

And it was a good choice indeed. All my friends couldn't wait to come and some even pester their mommies to change their initial plans just to come for the party.

The party starts at 3pm and most of my friends were punctured. It was a little disorganised in the beginning as we have to get down from the function room to change into our "winter" gear. Imagine having close to 30 kids rushing to the counter to get their winter boots and jackets?!

But the Snow City's host quickly get everything running smoothly and those that had changed into their gear couldn't wait to get in the Snow Chamber.

Just before going in, we took some pictures.

Surprisingly, for a public holiday (Hari Raya), there were very few people in the Snow Chamber. Thus, no long queue for the slide at all! However, it was very cold in there and after half an hour, most of us took turns to come out for some warm air.

Mommy did not come in with us but occasionally, she will dash in to take a few quick photos for us. Think mommy got a lot of fats in her as she did not even need to put on any jacket and can stay in there for 5 minutes!

After one hour of snow play in the Snow Chamber, we proceeded to the function room for more games. The games were quite standard. We had Musical Chair; Musical Statue...

We are a sporting bunch and it surprised the host! He told mommy after the party that this is the first time everyone participate in the games and gamed for "face" painting!

After all the running and jumping, time for a simple buffet.

After the buffet, those that finished get to have their hand painted, though not very professionally done. The guy can't paint dolphin which disappoint many.

Finally, Birthday cake was out! I had a hard time choosing this cake 2 months back! Its a Tinkle bell theme from Cupcake Divinity. Mommy was glad she planned earlier this year as they were fully booked right after mommy made the booking.

My friends were all so excited at the cake, actually more of the cupcakes. They couldn't wait to choose which cupcake they want which comes with either a Tinkle bell ring or the figurine.

The cupcakes were for my friends while the big cake is for all the parents.

Its so difficult to take a family picture as all my friends couldn't wait to take the cupcakes! The host has to "bluff" them away by saying more handing painting is on.

This are the gifts mommy and I chose. Its so popular that once mommy brought them out and laid on the table, everyone came and check them out. The host had to request them to put it back first. The Spy pen was in such great demand that those classmates that couldn't make it also want it. They went to the bookshop during recess and buy me a gift so that they can have the Spy pen!

I had my hand painted after the party was over, as I was too busy with the cake cutting and all that.

So happy to receive so many presents. And this year, all the presents are so practical. Thank you everyone!
